When Goosebumps was going to come out i had low exepatations seeing it because i thought this movie was going to be a pile of garbage and i was wrong. I used to read a book from R.L. Stine called "The Basement" which was about two girls who find their father suspicously hidding something from them and you guess it plants (The Happening) and fedius that book told me that the new live action goosebumps or adaptation could be a nice edition to the series. And sure Goosebumps has some daring visuals and good character development but the storyline felt a little big loose and overrated but Jack Black as R.L. Stine he was amazing as the author himself. All the performences were weak but Jack Black was fantastic as the author who wrote a million goosebumps books either way Goosebumps is a overrated visual sparkle fest throughout and many who have read Goosebumps may have a wild ride with this film.
