We live in dark times. I have found myself drawn more and more to Christian movies while no longer watching the "big movies" out of Hollywood. As such I found this gem about the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The acting and story are superb and I found myself swept along as the Roman solider who killed Christ on the cross with his spear becomes a believer and follower of Jesus. Highly recommended for older kids and adults. Too intense for young kids.

Though naturally some theatrical liberties were taken, this was a pretty good portrayal of the death and resurrection of Jesus, from a Roman centurion perspective that had to reason with the facts.
Great acting!
Caution if young viewers there is violence and dead corpses.
