I met Sanjay during a conference at Calarts, he is a touching person, he do not hesitate to tell what he thinks, even to his boss at Pixar... And gets what he wants, it took him lots of time to direct this short. It's not easy to produce a story based on the Indian culture, seperated from the americans. He is so good at connecting his feelings to the public, and he did it. His dream came true.

Sanjay Patel drives the uniquely personal short tale of a boy reconciling his love of comics and super heroes with his family's traditions, values, and spiritual beliefs. Character design, animation, story are all immaculately woven together. If you like this, also check out Sanjay's books in a similar vein on Ganesha and the Ramayana.
