The song "Never Enough" is the pinnacle, the rest of the music is pure fluff that adds nothing to the story. The story of dreaming, love and family would have carried the show without the musical fluff while giving it more depth and meaning. Enjoyable show overall.

Not everyone has to like this movie. But as a person that likes a good musical. This is not one I would recommend. Mostly because the music doesn't fit the time period. Having contemporary music and dance numbers don't fit the time Period. Plus that fact women kissed the main character knowing full well the man is married. Take Singing in the Rain or Hello Dolly. I prefer those. Over the newer musical
