I thnk Tom and the girl did a great job, but the movie was just too slow. Altough the prodcution was very well done, and they spent a fortun on that part, the movie was not all that interesting and boring. The ending was good though, but not worth the money

This is an excellent movie: beautifully directed. The characters and the actors were impeccable. I really loved this movie. It is definitely worth the price of a theater ticket.

Seriously? How high you need to be to find this movie appealing at all? Don’t waste your money, wait for it when is a .99 cents rental.

News of the world is one of the best movies I’ve ever seen the acting is great and the movie deals with so many issues and themes and handles them beautifully the journey of the 2 main characters and the bond they develop is so heartwarming and the things they go through is so emotional I was crying at the end but in a good way luckily the movie has a perfect ending that gives the 2 main characters the peace they deserve I can’t believe the low ratings here with all of the crap that comes out of Hollywood lately news of the world is a rare treat definitely my favorite Tom hanks movie ever
If you like the usual superhero action trash than stay away but if you like movies with meaning and emotion than news of the world will definitely not disappoint

The the 5 star viewers. Just because it’s Tom Hanks doesn’t automatically make it art.
It’s slow going with a few good spots. For the most part just slow. A wast of time and money.

Great story and even better acting. Tom Hanks came thru again and newcomer Helena Zengel did an outstanding job. Look out for more from her. Will definitely buy this one.
