The Ambraham scene is one of the most racist scenes I have seen in a movie celebrated as a time honored film, however I think it's worth keeping it in place and recognizing that it is offensive to many people. The movie was made in a time that this was acceptable - but just barely. As we, as a society, have evolved - blackface and the sterotypes in this film that protray black people as lower or less than whites is even less acceptable. To delete the scene and pretend it never happend would be the easy way out. It is the way this film gets broadcast on commercial funded channels - no advertiser in their right mind would want to be around that scene. However, it allowed me to have a very honest discussion with my children about this scene and many other things in the world that were once ok but now are not. It's not an easy scene for me to watch, it goes against my upbringing and I'm whiter than wonder bread. On the whole, the movie was above average but nothing earth shattering. Without it we wouldn't have White Christmas - which in my opinion is a much better film.

Tim Cook personally promised 4K upgrades to prior purchasers of movies in the iTunes Store. Here is yet another case of prior purchasers being denied the upgrade. Ripoff. Apple, fix this! Studios, fix this!

There is much to love about this movie! Ignore one scene and enjoy the rest!

This movie has a pre-movie warning that states some scenes of the movie may be considered racist today, but the scenes have not been removed to keep the movie intact. The scenes, that some may find offensive, are where the lead characters dress up in black face.
