This is something that happens in different shapes and forms, everyday all around the world. Even with all the technology and social media that is available to us, there are so many tragedies and unfairness that are untold. In 1971, one man with one camera changed so many lives. Minamata made me feel so many emotions with its amazing cinematography and of course great acting from Johnny Depp.

This was a very moving film based on true events. It was engaging from start to finish. It was great to see Johnny Depp play a “real” role again instead of his usual eccentric characters. Love the homage to the art form of classic old-school photography.
