I have no clue why the initial score from the fans is so low (3.5) imo the movie was excellent, it had things I hadn’t seen in any other horror movie and those 2 twists at the end…MAN, great movie!!

As a long term A24 movie watcher, this one hits all the boxes. If you're in to see naked women, they got it! If you're in to see gore? They got it! If you're into see Kid Cudi? Hes here!

X is an enjoyable, unique horror film, with excellent cast performances all around and superb direction by Ti West. No spoilers but it sets up West’s next movie, Pearl, which is a prequel. X is also the first of a trilogy of movies. MaXXXine, the third, is coming soon. One of the coolest things about how West made these movies is that you can watch X and Pearl in any order you like and get something different out of the viewing sequence each time. If you like horror, then get thee hence to X! You’ll love it and Pearl, for sure.
