I really liked the book so I had high hopes for the movie. But… I decided to stop watching because I couldn’t get past how much this movie is really just a very public therapy session about how he did a lot of messed up things, figured out how messed up they were, got his priorities straight, and then wrote a book about it. The book was much more enjoyable and had a greater impact on me. Skip the movie, read the book.

A must see for all. There is no doubt that after watching it will cause a person to reflect on what he explains. This is real in every way without the super hero fantasy effect. Love it

I was so curious about this movie, as I have seen the book EVERYWHERE for a while now and yet, twenty minutes in and I realize how self-indulgent this is. Nothing particularly deep here, nothing that expands your mind. The concepts are pretty bland. Mark Manson is engaging, but unfortunately the movie is not.

This should cause you to set reflect on how you perceive life, and how “life” perceives you. Most people are drunk on toxic positivity and need daily motivational quotes to feel good about themselves. These people need a wake up call.
