Maybe in Australia or NZ this is considered scary. But to me it was just meh. Good premise but Terrible story and poorly executed. I will say it did Have one good scene with the boy, so I’ll give it 2 stars . Bot not even close to what I would call the scariest movie of the year.

Was so stoked for this especially with all the high reviews but literally every character is so hateable that it ruins the movie. It’s also not remotely scary either so how this is being called the scariest movie of the year is beyond me🤷♂️
