I JUST HAPPEN TO RUN INTO THIS AND I THOUGHT OH NO!!THEY HAVE MURDERED DAFFY AND PORKY.AFTER WHAT HAPPENED TO BUGS BUNNY IN THIS DECADE. PLEASANTLY SURPRISED AND HAPPY. IT DOES BRING BACK NOSTALGIA AND MAKES ME SAD CAUSE I USE TO WATCH ROADRUNNER AND BUGS AND ALL WITH MY DAD ON SAT MORNINGS. I REALLY MISS TV SHOWS IN GENERAL. I WAS BLESSED TO HAVE RAISED MY ONLY GIRL ON THE BEST. WE BOUGHT ALL THIS STUFF OFF IND WHO KINDA DID IT UNDER THE TABLE. ALL KIDS SHOULD BUY THIS!!!

There is no such thing as a bad Looney Tunes movie

The Day the Earth Blew Up is the year’s funniest film WB tried to keep down. But thanks to Ketchup Entertainment’s buyout of this movie, we were able to catch this spectacle on the big screen where it deserved to be seen. It does not disappoint. Through and through, it’s a complete riot. It perfectly captures the insane and irreverent spirit of the old Looney Tunes cartoons. It’s plot is pretty paper thin, but of course, for a movie like this, the plot is only a springboard for near constant sight gags and wacky shenanigans. And thankfully, most all of them work. In fact, the screening I attended had upwards of at least 8 uncontrollable belly laughs. While family films come out all the time nowadays, it’s been a long time since we got one that exists just to be plum fun. Not emotional, not deep, not transcendent, just knee-slapping hilarious. The Day the Earth Blew Up fits the bill (no pun intended). This is the kind of film we need more of in today’s bleak cinematic landscape. Thank you everyone who worked on this modern day masterpiece. Your efforts were not in vain.
