Great movie! Had me hooked from the very beginning. Cannot believe I hadn’t seen this until now. Definitely an intense war movie and worth the watch.

6x combat vet and this is one of the few that gets it right. I also served with one of the guys in the raid that’s still on active duty in special ops. Must see to truly understand modern warfare.

Black Hawk Down is the very medium of entertainment, violence and descent character development. The movie has flaws but with writter/director Ridley Scott who directed Alien and Gladitaor, Black Hawk Down is entertaining, lead by a supporting good cast and overall it's true event telling is over the top and it reedems itself to be a Ridley Scott overture.
