Just watched it so worth the price of buying great characters, great action, and a classic story brought excellently to life. Yul Brynner is in my top two favorite western actors with Clint Eastwood in first. If your not sure about buying, rent then you’ll see it’s worth it.

Absolute classic, Steve McQueen steals every scene he is in. The score is unbelievable. Eli Wallach makes for a wretched and wonderfully hateful villain. MGM, please make this any many of your other greatest films purchasable on iTunes, why are so many consigned to rental only? I would love to pay good money for this any many of your other films.

this has got to be a purchase. i wouldnt think of renting this movie - already seen it so many times, but always want to watch again. so why does itunes want to screw me for a rental? just good business!

There is a reason this is considered a classic. It is one of my all time favorite films. I love Steve McQueen and this is possibly his best role.
