Would have been great without Myers

The cross-eyed hell-llo thing was funny in third grade. It is silly to think that a character played by Travis would ever fall for such an immature dork. This is a great movie for an adolescent male audience, but not for general audiences.
Myers messed up this film. It could have been fantastic. I wouldn't mind seeing a remake with someone like Scott Lang or Simon Pegg.
Unique, funny, different

This is a one of a kind movie. Its funny and just different, a little odd. Not as weird as The Cable Guy, which is one of my favorite movies, but just kinda strange, which makes the movie unique. Mike Meyers is hilarious.

I saw this in the theatre back in '94. It changed comedy for me forever. When comparing this masterpiece to other films only a few came close to the writing, acting & timing this movie possesses.
My favorite scene is Charlie in the butcher shop scaring the customers with his meat fingers. Then again, "HEAD MOVE NOW!" is a great contender.
To see this film is truly appreciating what comedies can achieve.
Dirty, Rotten Scoundrels is another epic, timeless love of my life and they should be celebrated as such.

So I Married An Axe Murderer is said to be a mediocre comedy, but I found nothing wrong with it. I liked the way they mixed a mysterious thriller with funny comedy. I enjoyed seeing Myers make his earliest attempt at multiple characters with Charlie's father Stuart Mackenzie. It is clear that Stuart was the origins of Fat Bastard and even the voice of Shrek. I consider it a 90's classic.
