Acceptable movie for one who likes the franchise, I just wish it hadn’t been filmed entirely in the dark. You can’t see ANYTHING!

First off, I love how it balances the horror and the suspense of both aliens. And the predator was the best one ever. Loved how we saw more of their technology in this movie P.S. ITunes It’s says it’s unrated but it’s missing the extra 6 minutes. It’s only an hour and 34 minutes when it should be an hour and 41 minutes!

I didn't like this movie at all. The first AVP had many memorable characters (just some) and Scar was enjoyable but when it comes to this film there are many "main" characters which makes it hard to follow up with any of them. And the other trouble I had with this numb movie was it's lack of lightning. To put an example: in a scene, the predator is fighting with many aliens in a sewer but you can't see anything that's going on. I have many other problems with this film but those two examples are more than enough to prove the lack of knowledge of the directors. All I have to say is, don't waste your time watching this horrible movie, save your money.

90% of the movie takes place at night, so you wont see the action. The action, AVP, is the point and the movie is shot so the audience cant see it. At one point in the movie, there is a power outage. So now its not just night time, everything is scarcely lit by emergency generators. The movie ends with a triumphant soundtrack despite the fact that an entire town is murdered via nuclear bomb to contain the aliens.

The movie is supposed to be 1 hour and 41 minutes with extra footage, but it is only showing 1 hour and 33 minutes with the same footage from its theatrical version Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem. It is really irritating!
