Clooney's best acting in a clear narrative of a real person's life changes. His portrayal of growthtowards integrity is authentic to anyone who has ever challgenged themself to be more humane. So so satisfying a movie. Congrats George. This was your maker imho.

I watched this movie because I didn't remember seeing it before. By the time I realized that I had seen this movie before, I determined that I would stay awake and see if I could understand what this movie was about. It's a two-hour movie and I fell asleep at 1:44. I rewound and watched the last 15 minutes. I still don't know what this movie is about. I think there are about 60 different, unrelated scenes that were stitched together to make a movie. This is one of the worst movies I have ever had the displeasure of watching. What a waste of time. Save yourself. Go do anything else.

I alomost gave it 5 stars ,,,, nice little twist at the end , wasn't expecting it really like that . The thruth is Clooney , McConnaughey , Denzel , Damon , Deneiro , & Pacino don't mess up movies .
I actually thought he wanted the money at the end - go figure ?????
