Any Given Sunday is a remarkable movie about the realities of modern football and is worthy of being in anyone’s collection. The reason I give this one star review is because this is the theatrical version of the movie which is inferior in every way to the Directors Cut. There are several important scenes missing from this version that make the movie truly complete. If you want this movie in your collection buy a physical copy directors cut.

Grew up around footbal played in HS and a little Div1 College ball...I thought this movie was terrible. I walked out of it when it was in theaters, and watched it 10 years later and it might be worst then i remember. SO BAD AND FUL OF STUPID JOCK CLICHES

Good movie for a rainy day

Friends of mine raved that this movie was a classic. I think it is an ok movie - 3 hours is a long time to watch football. The plot was predictable, but the messages were meaningful and a good reminder for all of us about teamwork, learning from others, etc. i'd recommend to watch on a rainy day, or you're having a hard time at work and working with others who are different to you!
This is a horrible movie.

This is one of my least favorite movies of all time. It is extraordinarily long, and nothing really happens. Oliver Stone owes me 3 hours of my life back.
