the power of having powerful people backing you, they put so much money behind her trying to do anything and everything to make her look cute. Huge sets, colors, costumes anything to take the glare off her nose and face overall... songwriters galore, whatever it takes make this girl seem like a miracle of life.
All these years later you'd think people would pull their heads out? her acting is like Dreyfus, yelling in every scene, making noise is somehow acting? cute? it's garbage.

THIS MOVIE IS FANTASTIC, EVERY TIME MY DAUGHTER AND I WATCH IT WE ARE IN STICHES, SHE IS FUNNY, SEXY AND SO MUCH LIKE "ONE OF US" THE SINGING IS OF COURSE BEAUTIFUL, BUT THE LAST 5 MINUTES WILL LEAVE YOU GASPING FOR AIR AS BARBRA BREAKS INTO SONG WITH THE FULL CAPASITY OF HER LUNGS. WE ALWAYS WONDER WHEN WE SEE IT - WHY DOESN'T SHE STILL - OR DIDN'T SHE DO MORE COMEDY, SHE IS SO GOOD AT IT.
