Was his best performance ever I believe. Does anyone know what was the name of the camp in Hayne Blvd., in New Orleans was. We bought that camp in the 80’s and were told it was filmed there, kind of exciting because I think I was his biggest fan along with every other girl, lol. Would love to get pictures somehow,

Besides the singing which is great but the acting is good as well. Based upon a Harold Robbins novel, Elvis takes on the role of Danny Fisher without his usual charm but with moodiness. He doesn’t chase girls which is a relief but goes after the bosses girl, played by the diva Carolyn Jones. A first rate job by our young hero. I wish he continued with his acting more seriously. Well worth a look in.
