Dont know what is all the negative reviews, i was entertain the whole time... unlike other movies this was not boring at all... will i watch it again? No, but i will recommend it to my family. At least must see once.

This movie was really good and I love the way it ended which is different from the 1982 version; so many possibilities...and I wish there was a sequel.

The movie is a good prequel to John Carpenter's 1982 cult classic. A prequel needed to be done for the story line. It stays consistent with the elements of the 1982 film. All and all it is very good. The negative reviews are opinions as is mine. I recommend it for fans of the 1982 film.

This movie is a prequel to the 1982 version and is in a word…excellent. This one is actually more like the 1950 version with palpable tension and dread and while the special effects are there, they are not the main course. The story and acting are. I bought this and plan on watching several more times. Well done.

This shouldn't even be on iTunes. Why does Apple allow more and more of these B-movies on iTunes?
This movie is bad in every way. Bad story, bad directing, bad acting, bad art direction, bad edit. It's a disgrace for movie making.
People should get payed to watch this crap.

First the effects ... Eh. Second, the casting of the girl to play the lead was a terrible choice. She was too young and her performance was awful. It brought the entire movie way down.

Most of the creatures in this movie are not CGI their actually mechanical made by the Special Effects team the only real CGI in this movie was a little part of the fire and the scene where (Spoiler Alert).................Edvard merged his face with Adams also a little bit of the helicopter scene when the guys face was shifting.
