Love Leslie Mann and Paul Rudd, wonderful chemistry. The Attatow kids are great actresses, the young one is simply adorable. Drags on a little long but who cares? Tons of LOL moments and a must see.

This was a brilliant movie that unfortunately didn't get the credit it deserved. I'm guessing it was the studio's idea to market this film as a comedy (which it is not) in order to collect a better return on investment. The first time I viewed the movie I was primed for a laugh, and left disappointed. But when I watched the film again I truly appreciated the writing and especially the actors' performances. There may not be a large audience that intimately relates to the experience portrayed on screen, but for those that do this is a very special piece of work that can really resonate viscerally.

This is 40 is one of the funniest and also touching films that I have seen in a long time. If you are too dense, then go watch obvious, callow humor like in The Hangover.
