Yes it has predictable theme, as with any movie about the occupied Palestinian Territories, but by the time you finish you won't be thinking about the Palestinian-Zionist conflict. You get entwined with the characters and feel as if you have a vested interest in them resolving their strife. Great foreign film if you don't have any interest in plight if Palestinians.
