This movie (which is one of the best from that year) was filmed in Acadamy Aspect Ratio. For our younger viewers that ratio is just about square. So when presented as produced, there should be black areas on the sides of the screen when shown on your TV. Just remember NO film has ever been made in 16 X 9. so if the picture fills your screen, part of the picture area is missing. I don't know why somebody at the studio thinks they know better than the film's makers. Apple please provide the movie the makers intended and not overscanned to fill a 16 X 9 TV screen.

One of the best thrillers !! Barbara Stanwyck and Burt Lancaster....superb. Keeps you on your seat until the last moment !!
