Like duh, it's in color for people who like color. If you don't like it in color then buy one of the many B&W versions available or just turn the color all the way down on your TV. Quit trying to change other people's minds(with the perverbial frown and scorn) based on your likes. this is not a "Cookie-Cutter" World and people are different so please respect that. I personally wouldn't buy it if it wasn't in color after all it's still considered to be one of the worst movies ever made so adding modern digital color sure can't hurt. Heck after watching once i might watch again but have my iTunes seperately on iPad with bluetooth headphones and listen to Hawkwind while watching the movie(audio mute) on my 51 inch Samsung HDTV. I guess for those who don't like that they can follow what Dr. Smith(Lost in Space) said' "Oh the pain, the pain!" Live and let live, peace.

OMG! WHY IS THIS IN COLOR?

Probably the worst movie I have ever seen and I have seen some beauts. However, it is so badly done I stayed with to see if it has any redeeming qualities. Very few. It was sad to see Bela Lugosi at the bottom of his career taking any acting jobs he could to survive. No one has ever done Dracula like Mr. Lugosi. The two stars are for him.

Wow they did a good job on this. The restoration is fantastic, and the color is beautiful and vibrant. Ed Wood would be proud!
