When famous director Arnold (Owen Wilson) casts call girl-turned-actress Izzy (Imogen Poots) to star in his upcoming play with his wife Delta (Kathryn Hahn) and her ex-lover Seth (Rhys Ifans), his secret life is hilariously tangled with his personal life. Izzy turns to her therapist Jane (Jennifer Aniston) for help, but Jane is consumed with her own failing relationship with Arnold's playwright Josh (Will Forte), which only increases the confusion in this zany New York love story.
