Description

Andrew Braddock is shipwrecked on an uncharted island where Dr. Moreau, a brilliant surgeon, maintains an elaborate laboratory for his unorthodox experiments with animals, turning them into quasi-humans. Braddock falls in love with Moreau's mistress, and they escape the island just as the doctor's 'Humanimals' savagely revolt.

    After watching the movie, I had to get into the book. Its was ok, but I think fans of horror stories and horror flicks will enjoy the movie much better if they want to see real action. Imagine yourself trapped on a tropic island where an insane doctor wants to turn you into an animal. Not that its all Friday the 13th or Halloween, but with a blend of romance and adventure, what more could you want?
