Amazing movie, but...

This is one of my all time favorite movies. Sadly this is a condensed version. I understand having a condensed version but it has to be done right. There are key scenes missing and some scenes where you wonder what’s going on because the scene explaining it was cut. Still great if you’ve never seen the original. As someone who has, it just felt empty in areas.

I’ve seen the original 2-part version. This is not it. Missing half of what is an excellent movie. Why not offer the complete epic?

Yes gret movie but, it is the cut version. The original is soooo much better. Why can't we have that? I can watch the original on a black site....

I loved this movie! It is stunning in action, costumes, and special effects. The movie is in Japanese with English subtitles and very easy to follow. It's romantic and tender, then fierce and unyielding in battle. The actors are wonderful. Kudos to John Woo for making a spectacular film.

I'm recently found a love of foreign films and this one is fantastic. Great action, acting, screenplay, everything. Chinese and Japanese films are excellent. This is a must see. Check out Seven Samurai and Ran as well
