I have watched all 3 seasons and have been entertained by each one. Great series on solving historical crimes with main characters you enjoy watching. It is so well written and acted. I really wish there were more than 3 seasons. If you enjoy detective shows, this is not your typical show! I have found that I thoroughly enjoy British crime shows- just put on the closed captioning!

If you're a fan of British TV then you've seen this before. These actors have played these same parts in countless other series. Same plot, same racial tension, same detective inspector, same detective sergeant, same menacing white guy, same squad room, same whiteboard. I did see one nice shot of Portsmouth harbor.

The DI and Sergeant who are intelligent and competent but whose chief feature is that they are simply good people. The Brits own this genre. The acting and writing are absolutely up to par. If you were sad to see Robbie and James knock back their last pint, this series is for you.
