Chernobyl is simply the best limited series that HBO or any other network has produced. It’s a captivating and utterly engrossing, historically accurate look at one of the greatest tragedies of the post-World War II nuclear age. This series cannot be missed.

By far, this is the best show I have ever seen. The picture, characters, story, drama and representation of the URSS is just amazing. You need to live in a communist country to understand the actions and decision taken by the “so called” leaders. There is not a missing detail in any scene.
It’s really sad how dictatorial regimens protect their failure from the “eastern countries”, costing life, from children, women, elder people, etc. They don’t really care about people.

This is possibly the best mini series I have ever seen. It’s educational, albeit with a little fiction, though. I learned a lot about the Chernobyl incident and was extremely captivated at the same time.

The show was a true masterpiece. It not only told the story of one of the most horrific man-made disasters in the world, but expressed the heart-wrenching effects and painful truths of lies. HBO’s Chernobyl will hit the heart of every viewer, and yet still teach you about the damage that one nuclear reactor did to an entire nation.

It is impossible to watch this masterpiece and not feel a hauntingly familiar queasiness in the pit of your stomach, if you were anywhere in the former USSR, Western Europe or Scandinavia when these events occurred.
