This is hands down the best anime that came out/simulcasted that year. The plot and story wrap you up in the problems the main character faces. You want Nafomi to triumph and keeps you engaged in the entire story line the whole time. Characters have real depth and development to them and I can’t wait for season 2 to come out! Definitely worth buying even if you don’t buy anime. Much like the first season of AOT spans the world and brings anime further into the mainstream. Haven’t talked to anyone who didn’t love this anime from start to finish. Which includes not typically anime fans loving it.

Naofumi is no doubt the True Hero Melromarc needs while the other Heroes screwed everything up. That is why he’s OP and Raphtalia is the Best Girl of 2019. The journey to redemption and triumph continues as the Shield Hero fights off calamity and the Waves of Catastrophe.
