Description

When Oceanic Air flight 815 crashes on a Pacific island, its survivors fight for their lives. They discover the island's secrets, find signs of those who came before them and uncover mysterious bunkers. The survivors are diverse: a doctor, an escaped fugitive, a con man, an Iraqi interrogator, a Korean couple, an obese lottery winner, and a man cured of his paraplegia by the island. They must work together if they want to stay alive. But as they discover during their time on the island, danger and mystery loom behind every corner, and those they thought could be trusted may turn against them. Even heroes have secrets.

    There is little doubt that LOST is an amazing show but even with all the praise it deservedly gets, many, for some reason, found the last season and especially the last episode divisive. But here’s the deal: Season Six of LOST is one of the best final seasons of any television series and time has vindicated the last episode as a masterpiece. I never quite understood why the final episode freaked out LOST fans so much. Was it the overt religious theme? It was perfect for a series about lost souls searching for redemption. Also, the series finale probably has one of the greatest and most emotional death scenes ever filmed. Man, give Mathew Fox an Emmy a decade late for that. Anyway, get the box set and enjoy.

    Enjoy the first 3 seasons because they are good. If the last 2 seasons leave you with an emptiness in the pit of your stomach, wondering what may have been without the writers’ strike, worry not for that is normal.
