Follow paramedics Roy DeSoto (Kevin Tighe) and John Gage (Randolph Mantooth), as well as firemen and doctors attached to Station 51 of the L.A. County Fire Department and Rampart Hospital, as they perform more harrowing rescues and solve a whole new slew of unique medical mysteries in the wildly popular 1970s series. Notable for its use of medical realism, "Emergency!" often based its stories on real-life 911 calls.
