Shows ever made

For an X-Men knockoff, this first season was pretty good. Like any tv show with a big cast, there are some C- and D-listers in the pack I could easily have done without -- EG, the tortured painter, the sensitive dude with the Eddie Furlong hair, and we spend WAY to much time with the Fred Flintstone guy and his troubled marriage. But Hiro is great, and the rest are okay. They weave the various storylines pretty cleverly, and by the end of each episode you kinda gotta see the next. Sadly, like many tv series, this first season is the best. Things get progressively lame and waffling in the following years.

I purchased this season a few years ago but now its gone. Unless i want to purchase it again

Love It, Watch It!

This show is so awesome!! One of favorite shows ever story's are super cool too. If you like superheroes / superpowers this show is for you .

This show was awesome, I'm so happy that they're coming out with a spinoff next year.

I watched Heroes (season 1) back when it aired and told my new bf about it a couple months ago. I convinced him that it wasn't a random high-school-audience-aimed show and that the special effects were great and the intertwining of the characters' lives was complex and super COOL... and so we bought it. Turns out I've forgotten a lot since 2006, and it was exciting even for me-- after the first two episodes we were hooked and finished the entire first season in 1 week. Now that I have shows like Breaking Bad and Sons of Anarchy to compare it to, I'm proud to say that it is still a solid show and withstands the test of time and progressions in technology. One of the few shows that really can pull on your heartstrings. Great storyline, fantastic actors, mind-blowing special effects, and on-point directing. Five stars from 2014 :)

THE FIRST SEASON WAS THE BEST I COULDN'T STOP WATCHING IT!!!

I love the first season of Heroes SO much. The other seasons aren't nearly as good as this one. I used to be addicted to Heroes. The character development, I would say, is the show's greatest strength. This is, by far, the best season of Heroes-and if the entire series just consisted of this one, I might give it 5 stars. My major issues are Nikki's character (I don't get her power-split personality?) and the whole plot with Peter and the bomb wasn't as good as the earlier plots. I think all the episodes before "Six Months Ago" ago are the best-but overall the first season of Heroes is spectacular and worth watching.
