Description

    I am a teenage anime fan (just a heads up) who likes shows like Higurashi and High School of the Dead, but this show is absolutely amazing! I just finished the series and I still cry when I listen to 'Oyako no Kizuma'. Not joking. This is one of the best shows I've ever seen and it's highly recommended in my part. There's a little bit of everything and I physically got up and cheered at some points. It's heartwarming and sad, and usually funny.

    To be honest, I thought this anime was just boobs and blades. Though, after watching the entire season I strongly disagree. The beginning is a little rocky with some suggestive themes of getting used to, but after that the story, characters, and plotline all come together; around a woman with a destiny and sacrifice she is willing to face to protect what she holds dear.

    The American versions of things are too often watered down, cliched, restrained, and unimaginative. When a Japanese animation company gets a hold of Witchblade, look out, because things are going to get interesting. Both seasons of this anime are incredilbe, providing a take on the Witchblade mythology that is far more interesting than anything the American writers have come up with. In this series, the Witchblade is a ferocious killing machine, not the brain-dead body armor suit that it is in the present comic. The only negative thing I would say about this series is that there's a little too much drama and not enough action. There's nothing wrong with drama and dialogue, as long as you keep it in good proportion with the action. The voice acting for the english translation is great.

    This Anime starts kind of strange but builds up to a very dramatic climax. At the end of the final episode "Light" you might just cry. PLEASE WATCH all the way to the end.

    This anime was easily one of the best I've seen and had me wondering if there was a season 2. The voice actors were surprisingly good for a dubbed anime. The end was really touching and had most people (including me) bawling their eyes out. Even though it did leave alot of unanswered questions at the end, it was fantastic
