Description

As Season 4 begins, the last remnants of humanity continue their search for a new home. Galactica’s crew, rocked by Starbuck’s sudden and mysterious return from the dead, attempts to make sense of the inexplicable. Meanwhile, four members of the fleet are still reeling from the revelation that they are Cylons and have been all along. Battlestar Galactica is the saga of humanity's last remnants and their struggle to find a new home while fleeing from their deadly Cylon enemies.

Great Show - Outstanding!!!

Somehow I missed this show when it debued in the 90s. As I am retired now, and most TV isn’t worth recording, let alone watching, I am very happy to have intelligent TV to watch. (It is a bit pricy for the entire season, but a very good show). This show is intelligently written and exceptionally acted. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys a compelling story.

I am not happy that I downloaded this only to find out that I cannot play it on my Apple IPOD. Apple needs a disclaimer. Glad I only downloaded one episode instead of the season. Buyer beware. Great show.

Small SPOILER: For those confused about the "All Along the Watchtower" reference, IMHO it is to do with the four riders of the Apocalypse. Only "Two riders were approaching, and the wind began to howl. . ." I think that unless one has a rounded view of philosophy and religion certain references such as this may not be understood. In truth, it is worhwhile to view the entire series again and write down references that are not understood or only partially understood. Books have been written about this series in an attempt to analyze it. I think it might take a person even with a well educated background in history, religion, and politics years to try and fully understand BSG. In fact, since it is fiction, we may never fully understand it but it will always, IMHO, be thought provoking. Even some of the most intelligent people I know are mystified by many aspects of BSG, and this is a great quality of the series. There are many layers and most of us can relate to one or more of them. It is like an extreme puzzle. I think erveryone should be able to enjoy this.

I just love this series. Believable effects, epic storylines, great characters, the whole lot. One thing about BSG that I like most of all, is that you could take most of the sci fi out of this, and it would still be a pretty darn good show!

This is absolutely the best series I have ever seen. A beautiful mix of sci-fi, drama, spirituality, human condition, amazing acting, flawlessly written. I've never cried watching science fiction. BSG is brilliant.

You will regret if you miss this. This by far the best show ever produced in TV history. Base genre might be sci-fi but this show is about everything. Episode by episode, it becomes human drama or political thriller or hard-core sci-fi or comedy… it's everything you wished for from TV. Please don't miss this show. Every single episode is just breath taking good!!!
