Simply Brilliant. I have not laughed this hard in a long time. Truthfully I didn't know this show existed until I started watching house. This is the funniest television series I have ever seen. They should have reruns of this show in the U.S. At least it is available on itunes.

captivating and broadly entertaining all the way through with many genuine laugh-out-loud bits. an absolute treat to see Hugh Laurie portray a range of characters prior to his iconic portrayal of Greg House. bloody brilliant!

Stephen Fry ("Bones" and "Kingdom") and Hugh Laurie ("House") delight with these witty, irreverent comedy sketches. Although some of the material is dated (the show is 20 years old), most of the humor withstands the passage of time. What really "works" is the rapid-pace interplay of these two fine actors; their comic timing is unsurpassed. It's wonderful to compare the young Fry & Laurie to the mature performers in their current roles. Vividly on display is their impressive command of the English language, especially in Stephen Fry's mind-boggling riffs on just about any subject. Wit and farce mingle in an addled balance that keeps me laughing out loud.

This show is brilliant - Truth be told we are Brits living in LA and it reminds us of home but the combination of Fry and Laurie is genius. If you watch House you'll be surprised how rubbery faced Hugh Laurie can be and so energetic and Steven Fry is so witty and brilliant with language. Vi recovered from open-heart surgery watching this and it gave her the will to live so that's gotta to be worth something Fi & Vi (UK female comedy duo) xx
