    Back in 2006, I started watching Smallville on The CW Network...in which I happen to stumble across Veronica Mars which was in its 3rd season at the time. It wasn't long before I binge-watched Season 1 & 2 because I'd falled head over heels from the few Season 3 episodes I'd seen. I don't even have enought words to express how phenomenal of a TV show Veronica Mar is...fantastic cast ensemble and captivating plot lines that engages the audiences hearts and minds. I still haven't found a teen drama that lives up to the standards of Veronica Mars even to this day.

    So, 3 stars only due to this season being SD only. I love this show, and I want to buy it, but I refuse to purchase the SD only, especially because if the HD does become available at a later date, there is no "upgrade" for movies or tv shows (yet I hope, but I am not holding my breath) so now I am to the point that I refuse to purchase any videos on iTunes that are not available in HD.

    Season 1 gets 5 stars for being the best season of the series. Zero stars for it not available in HD. Seasons 2 and 3 are available in HD so why is Season 1 in standard definition for purchase? I think that it is a disservice if other mediums and streaming services are offering this season in HD and not ITunes. The price is still good at $19.99 for each season but Season 1 does deserve better and a much needed HD transfer for availability. There is a difference!
