I really want to buy it but even the SD version is too expensive. Also, I'm not too eager to buy because I heard that season 2 goes downhill!

While the first season was cutting edge TV at its finest, the second season (despite some silliness) still has its moments. The first nine episodes of season two are excellent. But once Laura Palmer's killer is revealed, the show struggled for a focus. Worth noting: David Duchovny guest stars as Dennis/Denise Bryson.

I don't mind that David Lynch is insane. I like how he began this series. He picks great music for his works and grabs you from the outset. But his endings (and middle) are just stupid. He had the same problem in Mulhulland Dr. Probably the best beginning of a movie in history, but it eventually went to unfocused silliness. And the worst sin of all, it is totally predictable (Twin Falls). And he can't act.

I am so happy to have both season 1 & 2 again!!! This is one of the best series ever on tv.
Where is the final movie Fire Walk With Me? its not on itunes.....that is crazy to offer a full series, but not the final movie. I just asked itunes to add fire walk with me for those fans that would like the COMPLETE twin peaks series.
Thank you for adding this amazing and ground breaking tv series!!!!

Although the second season was not as consistent as the first (in part due to constraint placed on Lynch by studio executives), in the end this season of Twin Peaks was still amazing! Some of the episodes in this season in particular could easily be considered the best ever American Television (esp. Arbitrary Law and Beyond Life and Death). If you've already started watching Twin Peaks, brew yourself a good pot of joe and stick with it to the end of Season 2 and you'll be well rewarded. Enjoy!
