This show is just so amazing!! Jane is the love of my life as a friend I would like to have and my muse, my inspiration, and Parker, the boss, not always the best character, but oh my, what a man!!! Of course I also enjoy looking at well worked out bodies and nice figures, however, it's just a dream, an illusion - unless you work in the industry. Most avarage people with 9 to 5 jobs, kids, a home to take care of, they don't have the time or money to invest into sculpting their bodies, which unfortunately has had such a bad influence over the years on the audience, especially teenagers who can't seem to be able to accept their nature and engage in dangerous, unhealthy diets, which not rarely just brings them more frustration. Here we have Jane - she is a gorgeous, elegant, sexy, fierce, intelligent, loving woman, who does not correspond to the standards of beauty that have been imposed to society and influenced our perception of what beauty is. It is so great and important that the media create more role-models like Jane, Betty, etc, so we can start cleansing our minds and souls from all the garbage like "nothing tastes as good as skinny feels." Well Kate Moss, it that's what makes you happy then go for it, but I just don't agree. I could mention so many stuff that taste just so good that it rocks my world. I used to spend 3 hours daily at the gym, had the perfect body, but still was so frustrated - I couldn't eat what I wanted, I felt guilty if I didn't work out and even though it was easier to have dates and sleep together, it was all over the next morning or a week later and my love life was inexistent even though I went on so many dates. People should find their happiness, whether it's the gym or the kitchen. Well, I found mine in Nutella! LOL. When Terry poured cream cheese into Jane's mouth on the 1st season, cause Jane was having an anxiety attack, her answer was:"Oh my God, it's like Xanax!" And that's what got me thinking. I'm way happier now with a tummy than when I had a six-pack. It's all about acceptance and learning we can be just as sexy and desirable and successful if we accept who we are and stop trying to fit in. I love the show! Such a great life lesson!
