Buffy (the TV series, NOT the movie) broke new ground, and has influenced many shows since. On the surface, it may seem like a silly teen show with monster-of-the-week plots. Overlooked, however, is that the show is richly character-driven, thematically consistent, intelligent, often poignant, often funny, sometimes heartbreaking, and ultimately rewarding. Yes, there are maybe two or three silly plots per season, but not a single episode goes by without moving the show's season-long and series-long arcs forward. Plot is just a vehicle – the least important aspect of a series that digs deeply into the vagaries of human nature, the head-spinning ambiguities of good vs. evil, and the paradox between the desire for self-reliance and the need for interdependence. Entertaining as hell, intelligent, and endlessly re-watchable, this is not a 'teen show' or even a show about teens – it is a landmark television series that appeals to thinking people of any age (I'm over 50) who crave depth and appreciate meaning beyond mere words and events.

I love buffy the vampire slayer this is my favorite tv show EVER. There needs to be more seasons i love buffy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i can only rate of 5/5 but i give it a 1000000000000000000000000/5!

Even though the seasons are so much money it's worth it to watch them over and over. I love Buffy and Angel, thank you Joss Whedon!!

i love buffy!!! my dad was the one who first showed me, now im addicted!!! i at first thought it was lame (gasp!) but now im obsessed! my wall will soon be covered with it all!!! AHHHHHHHHHHH! I LOVE BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER!!!!!

Buffy has to be the greatest show ever made and thank you itunes for finally getting all 7 seasons.

With the emo-schlock-fest that was season 6 of Buffy, this season is, actually, a huge improvement. Buffy is a VAMPIRE slayer again, the high school has been reestablished (although Dawn occupies it now instead of Buffy) and the concept of the potential slayers is really quite refreshing. The dark humor is back, and the Big Bad of this season is really effective given that Buffy CAN'T fight it. Plus the Ubervamps look cool as unstoppable killing machines. They're what the Master could have been if the Harvest had run its course.

Finally, iTunes put all Season 1 through 7 on this store. But it's missing one more season. It needs Season 8. And this show is amazing and my favorite. Please iTunes had Season 8 Buffy TV Show on store, please. :D
