The Yogi Bear Show, Season 1

One of the most popular and enduring cartoon characters of all time, Yogi Bear made his entrance as a supporting character on Hanna-Barbera’s Huckleberry Hound Show in the late ‘50s.  Soon, however, the popular, “smarter than the average bear” was starring in his own series, alongside his little pal, Boo Boo.  With his Robin Hood antics and endlessly inventive schemes, Yogi sets his eyes on the “pic-a-nic” baskets of Jellstone Park and sets out to frustrate the comic straight man, Park Ranger Smith, whose tireless but futile attempts to enforce Jellystone’s “Do Not Feed the Bears” rule were always stymied by the industrious critter.  Add to this Snagglepuss, the Shakespearean lion and little lost duckling Yakky Doodle and you’ve got hours of classic fun! Season One’s sixteen episodes feature Yogi and Boo Boo in Paris, in Miami Beach, in the circus, on a diet, with a genie, with the Three Little Pigs and even in love!
