Eighteen castaways will compete on Survivor: Philippines when the Emmy Award-winning series returns. Three of the 18 castaways are former players who were medically evacuated from the game and are returning to finish what they started. Fifteen castaways are new to the competition. Surrounded by water, Survivor: Philippines will prominently feature marine-based challenges. For the first time in eight years, castaways will be divided into three tribes named after animals in the region: Kalabaw (“Water Buffalo”), Tandang (“Rooster”) and Matsing (“Monkey”). The tribes feature individuals from different backgrounds competing for the same ultimate goal: to be Sole Survivor.

    Survivor: Philippines is the best season since Heroes vs. Villains. Great casting. That's what made this season great to watch was it's cast. Overall entertaining. This only has 3 stars because people complain about the season pass, but this is definitely a 5 star season, one of Survivor's best.

    This season is great. I love the three tribes and having three medically evacuated players come back again. Also gave great players Malcolm, Denise, and Lisa and a despicable villain Abi-Maria.

    Was looking forward to seeing the finale, but still nothing… Show deserves 5 stars. Will update review and rating when CBS upload the episode.

    I paid for the whole series, so why did it end right after the announcement? Do I not get to see the reunion part that aired at the same time? Did I waste money thinking I got to watch from the beginning to end only to miss the ending? How rude!! Won't see me pay money for another series.

    Frankly I'm tired of being the person who pays for things and is the last one to get the content. The full episode was free online and available seconds after it originally aired, and I, the person paying is stuck here like a chump with all bill and no content. Pretty sad that pirates are more competent than a billion dollar company. Thanks for being horribly inconsiderate to your customers. I'm done being the one stuck with the bill.
