  • Great "OLD" TV Show

    This was a great show, and I was really surprised that it was cancelled. These days cancellation means it proably did not appeal to those who prefer large-scale explosions, endless car chases, gratuitous sex and gender bending to actual good writing and acting. Witchblade had both the the latter, and (as someone else mentioned) none of the former. My only regret is that this was not telecined and upscaled to 1080 HD. Oh well! 10.00 is a fair price (in today's market) for the series. Thanks!

    Since I was otherwise engaged in 2001, never saw this show until itunes. Just watched season 1 in entirety. It is one of the best TV seasons I have seen in a few years. There is a clever plot, and good acting. The actor for the lead charactor, Sarah, is absolutely the best for this role. It is very believable fantasy. No extreme gore or sex. Just good cops vs bad guys sprinkled with a bit of supernatural fantasy.

    I don't know if it's me or Apple just gets it. BUT either way Apple is getting more of my money. There are a number of off beat tv shows and movies that I have asked Apple to make available for purchase over the years. Apple has come through everytime (except Emperor of the North with Lee Marvin, still waiting). Thanks again Apple. The Witchblade was/is a good tv show. It was/is under appreciated.
