The Last Ship, Season 3

show need more action and plotting

If you can be patient and get through the first part of the story, it's gets so amazing and so intense and never boring. Good action for the guys and a little romance for the girls and a whole lot of patriotism for us all! Love this show! The eye candy is not bad either! 😜

It's great to see Season 3 displaying a maturing and ever-less politically correct Captain. The inclusion of sexy Bridget Regan as a possible love interest for Capt Chandler helps put a bit of a human face on the stalwart captain. She's also done a great job in this role. The Last Ship ... I can't think of a show I'd rudder watch. Let's hope the writers can keep her afloat. P.S. Those who have been giving this 1-star reviews for portraying the Chinese in a bad light are obviously rather ignorant of the 20th century history of China. Mao Zedong's reign of butchery is a fact of history. My husband grew up in Hong Kong during the height of the "purge" of all who resisted Mao's totalitarianism (mid 60s). Make no mistake, the Lenninist version of Communism proved to be the greatest genocidal movement in all known history: Mao's "People's Liberation Amry" having committed genocide to the tune of 100,000,000+ souls. To say that portraying a fictional Chinese leader as being capable of such butchery does in no way disagree with historical precedents. Not all Chinese (nor ALL of any culture) were so inclined, but to fictionally portray a Chinese leader as capable of doing so has no conflict with facts. Those who find issue with such a fictional plot elements might consider studying history, as well as the First Amendment to the Constitution. Everyone has a right to express their opinions. The slant of this show is anti totalitarian and pro-Constitutional. Not a popular notion in socialist America, but there are still a few of us who think this way. It is surprising how intolernat those who preach toerance can be.

Season one and two was great, highly recommend. Season three however looks like budget cuts and is very disappointing and leaves viewers feeling disconnected from the series. The storyline is boring and they are not the last ship, so whats the point of the title?

I see complaints about slow downloads of 12-24 hours. I haven't gotten the last two episodes in two weeks! What gives? Don't have cable so this is it.

This show is fantastic, and if you're considering giving this show a chance, please do. I didn't regret it, and I'm sure you won't either :)

There's only one token Asian who is portrayed in a semi-positive light. All other Asians are either weak and cowardly, or monstrously cruel and evil. Offensively racist. I have demanded a refund. My money will NOT support this kind of trash.

But why is it taking iTunes more than 24 hours to put the next episodes on. My cable app has it on the next morning. Why pay for it if you can't download it with the other shows from the night before. Is iTunes having an issue with this network? iTunes needs work this out so customers get what they pay for.
