The second season of this razor-sharp drama continues to cut beneath the surface of the superficial world of plastic surgery, revealing the complex, fragile nature of patients trying to mask their psychological flaws through cosmetic enhancement. The show won a Golden Globe® for Best Television Series, and Julian McMahon and Joely Richardson each received a Best Actor/Actress nomination for their work. Set in sexy South Beach, Miami, plastic surgeons and best friends Christian Troy (McMahon) and Sean McNamara (Dylan Walsh) continue to find success with the growing practice they share, but are starting to feel the foundation crumbling. Christian still tries to satisfy his insecurities with wealth and women, but is losing his swagger; Sean feels his family falling apart: his wife, Julia (Richardson), and children, Matt (John Hensley) and Annie (Kelsey Lynn Batelaan).
