    Alan Ball is a genius. This show is truly amazing. Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer act really well and the writing is really tight. However, this feel only lasts for the first three or four seasons. Seasons 5-6 are good but definitely not as good as the original three. So far, Season 7 (HBO has just broadcasted episode 3) is the worst season by far. I don't want to spoil anything but if you are looking for a campy supernatural show, then True Blood is the best one by a long shot. Yes, its better than The Vampire Diaries by far.

    This is a great series. iTunes has up through season 6 now. There are a lot of people complaining about the price. Amazon and Google are selling episodes for 2.99 each for SD. For HD ITunes is cheaper than HD on Amazon. Stop complaining, HBO wants their money! The series is different from the books . This is usually the case. This is a great series and I think the actors and director deserve to get paid. Buy it and enjoy!

    I bought the True Blood season and added the digital version to ITunes. The problem is that the digital version does not offer the subtitles. I only have this problem with TV shows.
