Description

The seventh season of The Andy Griffith Show begins with "Big Fish in a Small Town," in which we are introduced to the town clerk Howard, a novice fisherman, who tags along on the first day of the season and antagonizes the town's anglers by catching Old Sam, the legendary fish in the lake. Later in the season, Andy's and Helen's relationship is strained in the episode "Andy’s Old Girlfriend," when Andy's old high school sweetheart moves back to town. The lovebirds experience a few more relationship jolts in "Helen The Authoress," after Helen writes a children's book that will be published and Andy faces the uncomfortable prospect of being the fiancé of a famous writer.

I love this show !! I been watching it for over 40years or more. This show isn’t like any other show? My kids used too make fun of me watching it !! But guess who is watching it now ?? Yes all 3of my adult children and all my grandkids an they love it now. Every time my grandkids come n stay with me and the ones that lived with me or stayed with me longer then their parents because they worked two jobs an I kept my grandkids since they were infants n as they grew n listen n watched this good show they all started asking their parents is “Andy n Barney n opie coming on our tv”? “And when does Andy Barney an opie fixing to come on “? So I told my kids they needed to watch this classic show because it not like the shows now days that have a lot of cursing and anger and fighting drinking all the negative things. Andy Griffith show and helps me to calm down and to know there were days and they’re still can days like this classic show !! so never take it off or you lose peoples business.
